Description
One of the Fender Japan TL72’s manufactured in the 1980’s is in stock.
The most likely candidates are TL72-55 or TL72-50.
The serial number is unknown as the joint plate or bridge may have been replaced. The lack of serial number under the head logo, the Fender Japan logo on the pegs instead of GOTOH, and the smaller and thinner “Made in Japan” printed on the neck make us think that this is an SQ or JV?A serial-era neck.
The body is made of alder or basswood.
The sound is very stable Telecaster sound with Fender Japan’s style.
The pickups are believed to be original, but there is no confirmation.
Cool looks, which are rarely seen. This guitar looks more sophisticated than its price.
There is a CTL-50 stamp on the neck pocket.
Pickguard may have been replaced.
There is a crack on the neck joint.
Overall, there are scratches, dents, metal rust, and signs of use.
There are no noticeable abnormalities on the neck and no playing condition problems.
