The neck is made of heat-treated maple. The heat treatment provides shape stability, resistance to warping, water resistance, and resistance to temperature changes.
After several prototypes and verifications, we concluded that 20.5*22.5 (at1F*12F) was the best neck thickness.
The back of the neck is finished with a satin finish to ensure smooth playing comfort.
The fretboard is made of rosewood, which is known for its tenacious and mild mid-range sound.

Hyperion 7 pickups co-developed with Seymour Duncan
We obtained more than dozens of pickups and measured their frequency response. We measured the frequency response of more than a dozen pickups and determined the specifications and sound image of the pickups that we considered most suitable for AZ.
The output is kept low so that the cleanness of the original sound can be maintained even when distorted, and the pickups are designed for easy tracking and reproduction.
The total balance from treble to bass and from the 1st to 6th strings is important, and we also pursued good effect effects. Alnico-5 magnets are used.
