Description

The Martin OOO-18 is an OOO-sized mahogany side-and-back model with a vintage-style spec adopted in 2014, a thinner shape with a more austere and nimble neck, as well as the Drett-note shape represented by the D-28, which has been a favorite of many.

It has a Sitka spruce top, mahogany sides and back, select hardwood neck, 44.5mm nut, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, and open gear type pegs with “butter bean” knobs.

OOO size, often used for fingerpicking and playing, and mahogany’s distinctive glossy sound.

It shows signs of use (large scratch on the bottom of the pickguard on the top of the body, scuffs and scratches from playing, picking marks, shine on the back of the neck from playing, cloudy/pitted metal parts and screws, and other exterior damage).

The fretboard has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret adjustment) upon arrival, and the fret board is high enough to play well.
