Reasonably priced 200 series made in Tecate, Mexico. This is a grand eau de trium model with solid spruce top, layered rosewood sides and back, and all-gloss finish on the body. It is equipped with the ES1 pickup system, which is still very popular.
There are some dents and scratches mainly on the top, a few small spots of paint on the bass string side, a small chip on the headstock near the peg on the first string, and a few spots of satin paint on the back of the neck, but there are no noticeable damages. The battery box is the old type.
The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod has been checked for 60 degrees left and right. The frets have been rubbed together and are not dented, and more than 70% of the height remains. Both playability and sound are perfect.
Even though this is a popular model among Taylor products, the sound and playability are on par with higher-end models. Although it is an old specification, it is a highly practical instrument.
