The XSW-D PORTABLE INTERVIEW SET is the choice for man-on-the-street interviews. This set comes with a plug-on transmitter that turns the handheld dynamic mic of your choice into a wireless microphone. Alternatively, you can use the transmitter with a self-powered shotgun mic for boom work.

The camera-mount receiver connects to a DSLR, camcorder, or a tablet/smartphone (with additional adapter) to capture crisp-sounding interviews or dialog for video shoots.

Unboxing the System

• The exceptionally lightweight and compact plug-on transmitter lets you connect any dynamic microphone or self-powered shotgun mic equipped with an XLR connector.
• The equally discreet and lightweight receiver mounts to your camera shoemount with the supplied adapter. Connect its 3.5mm output to the 3.5mm audio input of your camera via the included coiled cable, and you’re ready to turn the system on.

Note: The XSW-D system is designed to work with most cameras, but different models offer varying degrees of control over their audio-input levels. In the rare occasion that the level is too loud, even after adjusting the input level on your camera, the Pro-Audio specialists atRedone recommend substituting the supplied cable with a -25dB attenuator cable for better results.
