This is a 50’s A Giljan ride that has become very popular in recent years due to its rarity and unique sound. This particular piece is a 22-inch ride with a “large hollow logo” that is believed to have been used in the mid-50s. There are 8 sizzle holes.

It has a clear A-like grain, but it also has smoky and dark overtones, and you can enjoy the royal ride sound that has a moderate spread and is nicely integrated.

While the overall appearance of the cymbal is dull for its age, the center hole and edges are clean, with no deformation or damage, and it is in good enough condition for a cymbal of this generation.
