Description

A Gretsch Renown snare drum, presumably a 1971-1979 model based on the badge.

The shell is probably maple + gumwood mixed 6-ply, and the interior has Gretsch’s signature
The inner surface is painted with Gretsch’s characteristic silver interior finish.

The vintage sound has a rounded softness and a dry withered feel, while maintaining the core and guttural attack that is typical of Gretsch!

Although the shell diameter is slightly larger than the original, the tuning is less peculiar and the tuning range is wide, making it easy to handle.
The shell diameter is a little oversized, but it is easy to handle with less tuning quirks and a wider tuning range.

The parts and snappy are original, and there is little damage from tarnishing and covering, so it is in good condition considering its age.

This is truly a “THAT GREAT GRETSCH SOUND” experience!
