Description
AZ7 Oval C Roasted Maple neck
Heat-treated maple is used for the neck.
Heat treatment provides shape stability, durability against warping, water resistance, and resistance to temperature changes.
The back of the neck is finished with a satin finish to provide a smooth playing feel.
The original neck shape was created by measuring and analyzing the neck grips of dozens of guitars from both our own and other companies.
The neck is shaped to drop gently from the fingerboard-neck bonding surface to the fingerboard edge, and the fingerboard edge is rounded for a comfortable grip. The shape is accurately and reliably reproduced by ball milling.
The neck is 47 mm wide at the nut and 66 mm wide at the 24th fret, with special attention paid to grip comfort at the low frets and to playability in the classical style with the thumb on the back of the neck at the high frets.
Stainless Steel Fret
The fret is characterized by excellent maintenance, fast note rise, good separation when playing chords, and clear sound even when playing single notes.
Luminescent side dot inlay
The luminescent side dot inlay is highly visible and can be used in a variety of playing environments, including those with rapidly changing lighting conditions. You will never lose sight of the notes you want to play, even on a dark stage.
A shallow body back contour and Super All Access Neck Joint
The original body shape was designed for a contemporary look.
The thin body contour and large elbow contour, reminiscent of Ibanez’s signature “S” model, create a sense of unity between the player and the guitar, contributing greatly to improved playability.

Gotoh T1572S tremolo bridge with Steel saddles 10.5mm string spacing Snap and hold arm socket
Ibanez and Gotoh have collaborated to create a new version of the GOTOH 510 bridge, which has been acclaimed by many players and brands as the definitive tremolo bridge.
It features a machined steel saddle and steel inertia block for a crisp, crisp sound and the sparkling high notes of plain strings.
The narrow spacing design with a 10.5mm pitch between strings allows for ease of picking across the strings, which is required by players who frequently use skipping and hybrid picking.
