FENDER JAPAN / ST62-85 BLK is in stock used.

The body and neck have been refinished from lacquer to poly.
The head and bottom of the neck have probably been poly coated over the original paint, judging from the decals.

The B stamp on the neck pocket, bridge saddle and bridge block are made of steel, so we judge it as “ST62-85” based on the specs.
Pickguard, knobs, pots, switches, and jacks have been replaced.

Line scratches on the body and PG. Scratches on the volume knob. There are dents on the back of the head and near the jack, and rust and tarnish on the pegs, bridge, and screws. Paint is faded on the top.
Neck joint is marked 7-7’82.
Truss rod: Checked to 60 degrees on both sides of the rod, no problem.
