The bell, slide, and slide U-tube have been modified to be dented, leaving extensive marks of modification.
The instrument is in overall practical condition with other signs of use such as scratches, lacquer peeling, rust, and discoloration associated with normal use.

This is a typical model of thick tenor bass, popular in various genres, with an open wrap for easy breathing.
